What I’m Reading (or *Re-Reading):

Atlas Shrugged (*), by Ayn Rand

So Who Is John Galt, Anyway?, by Robert Tracisnski

Little, Big, by John Crowley

The Summer Game, by Roger Angell

Smart Baseball, by Keith Law

What I’m Listening to (*Re-Listening to) on Audible:

The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid (*), by Bill Bryson

The Skeptic’s Guide to the Universe, by Dr. Steven Novella

The Shift, by Russell Carleton

Uncle Dynamite, by PG Wodehouse – just finished

Albums I’m Especially Enjoying Right Now:

Ed Sheeran “x” (Deluxe Edition)

Yes “90125”

Jethro Tull “Stormwatch”

Still Lots of Shuffling of My Spotify Favorites Playlist

The Only Band Who Has Never Produced a Song I Don’t Love:

Van Halen (and I mean with Roth and with Hagar … we should pretend the album with Gary Cherone never happened)

A Few Things I’m Especially Grateful For:

Summer.  Summer.  Summer.

Being able to spend a little of each day with the cats watching squirrels, chipmunks, and birds.

My Canon image-stabilizing binoculars (for birds and for stars).

One Skill I Never Pursued But Really Wish I Had:

Playing classical piano.  It would be wonderful to be able to sit down and play some Chopin in the evenings.

What I’m Mostly Doing Now:

1.) Prepping material for my next two courses slated for summer and fall.

2.) Working my way through the entire set of World Series films produced by MLB.

3.) Actively improving my diet.  (I’m a vegan already, but really need to incorporate more greens, raw vegetable juice, and superfoods.  I think of this as a “Paradise Diet,” and there’s really no reason in the world for me not to be enjoying that at least 90% of the time.)
