A Few Things I’m Especially Grateful For:

Not living in a city.  (And being able to pretty much avoid people entirely.)

The freedom to enjoy a quiet hour each morning with coffee/cocoa and Seneca.

The fact that MLB still has the entire 2018 and 2019 baseball seasons available.

Here’s a Crazy Fact I Ran Into This Week:

There are approximately 1,800 thunderstorms in progress at any given time during the day. And at least 100 lightning strikes on the planet any given second.

A Favorite Quotation I’ve Been Reflecting On More Lately:

“It’s easy to think I need something else. It’s hard to look instead at what to remove. … Most of us have too much baggage, too many commitments, and too many priorities.  Subtracting reminds me that what I need to change is something already here, not out there.” – Derek Sivers

What I’m Mostly Doing Now:

1.) Prepping material for my next two courses slated for summer and fall.

2.) Avoiding the news entirely.  (Enjoying kayaking on the lake instead.)

3.) Actively planning out a book I’ve been meaning to write for a long time now.
